General Zoology Reserve “Bug”

General Zoology Reserve “Bug” was created in 1995. The Reserve has an area of 3556,6 hectares and is located in the floodplain of the Western Bug River – a valuable natural complex with oxbow lakes, meadows, swamps, floodplain terraces, forests and shrubs, where you can find rare species of animals listed in the red list of Ukraine: black stork (during feeding ), common crane (on a flyby), Eurasian otter, and a corn crake listed on the European Red List of Threatened Species on a global scale.
