The launching site can be found in the northern part of the village. In this segment, there will be quite a few convenient areas for landing. If a means of transport apart from the kayak is available, it is worth driving to Hniszów to see the Bolko Oak. 

It’s a natural monument, a tree whose circumference is 870 cm, with a height of 29 m. The history of the oak dates back to 1370. According to a legend, it was under this tree that Bolesław Chrobry himself, then duke and later king of Poland, rested during his expedition to Kiev. Bolko grows in a park on the premises of a former grange farm and is one of the largest oaks in Poland.Interestingly, the name day of the oak tree is celebrated in the village every year. “BOLKOWANIE” is a traditional twoday- long event with sports and entertainment, which attracts tourists from all over Poland.
