A Center of Kayak Tourism is going to be built in Sokal as part of the Project “Bug Unites Us – Creating Two Cross-Border Kayaking Routes” that will connect Ukraine, Poland and Belarus. Its purpose is to strengthen integration in the cross-border region, enhance its social and economic potential through the promotion and saving of natural heritage and the improvement of the tourist infrastructure of the Bug River.
The kayak tourism center will be located in Sokal near the central beach. It is planned to build three container-type buildings with a total area of about 120 m2 with access for the disabled.
