Center of Kayak Tourism in Drohiczyn was opened on July 15, 2020. The Center of Kayak Tourism was established as part of the cross-border project “Bug connects us – creation of two cross-border kayaking routes”, implemented with the cooperation of three countries: Poland, Belarus and Ukraine.
Center of Kayak Tourism includes an exhibition of historic kayaks, previously housed in the Kayak Museum, which has existed here since 2013, enriched with new collections and multimedia. It is a unique place where you can admire historic and modern kayaks, go kayaking on the only kayak simulator in Poland, watch a movie in a kayak cinema, admire a multimedia photo exhibition and test modern kayaks in a special pool. The opening ceremony was graced by a canoe freestyle show by Zofia Tuła and Tomasz Czaplicki.
